Bassmead Manor Barns,
It’s been a tricky time for the whole world this last year, not to mention for anyone trying to plan a wedding! It was such a relief that restrictions lifted just enough so that these two wonderful people could tie the knot in front of the ones they love. It was an absolute joy to share and to capture the wedding of Esther & Dan.
For their venue, they chose the Beautiful Bassmead Manor Barns in Cambridgeshire and were married in the Rickety Barn onsite. The day was one of the hottest of 2021 with blazing, direct sunshine, making it tricky to shoot from my end. But this gave us the flip side of being blessed with the most stunning and magical golden hour and with a wheat field next door to the venue It was a no-brainer for some beautiful portraits.
Even with all the hurdles thrown in their way, I’ve loved hearing about their plans and seeing how this wonderful day has come together. As I write this they are currently in Scotland on honeymoon hopefully avoiding the midgies.
