A Musical Day in London

What a day this was!
An early start straight off the back from a Cornish Wedding, charge batteries, back up the previous day’s images (twice), clear cards, sync all three cameras, clean lenses, then off to the London wedding of Jon and Buffy.
I arrived to meet the gorgeous Buffy calm and organised but in the throws of getting ready for the big day, I’ve known Jon and Buff for many years so this was a very special wedding for me too. They chose Lauderdale house in Highgate London for their wedding venue and Indigo Wild Studio as their wedding photographer. Lauderdale house is a cute, intimate old manor house set in the stunning grounds of Waterlow Park, perfect for a wedding shoot. As the shots show these are two very stylish people, both professional musicians/theatre folk, ridiculously talented, and both with the biggest hearts you will find.
The day was a homemade wedding and would have been wrong any other way. Friends all pitched in, made decorations, entertained, brewed beer, etc. Jon himself even played and sang as his bride walked down the aisle escorted by her two daughters, I’m pretty amazed I got shots of this as at all, I was in bits and could bearly see the viewfinder through the tears!
